The Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca is one of the top destinations on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. It stretches from Valencia in the north to the Mar Menor at Cartagena in the south. Holiday trips to the “White Coast” stand for summer temperatures, sunbathing and fantastic landscapes.

The picturesque Moraira.

The traditional fishing village Moraira is situated on the lovely Costa Blanca.

Moraira is located directly at the coast – between mountains and the sea. The coastline is about eight kilometers long and alternately characterized by rocky coves and sandy beaches. A yacht club invites you to boat and sailing trips. The region is also first choice for diving and surfing. Due to its natural alignment it is perfect for walking or cycling, too.

Traditions are of great importance in Moraira. This includes in particular the daily fish market being one of the most important fish markets at the Costa Blanca. Another highlight is the local weekly market, where can you get everything your heart desires. In the city you will find a lot of history as well. The Castillo Moraira, for example, is located on a rocky hill and was built in the 18th century.

Whether afoot, by car or by bike – the region is one of the most exciting holiday destinations in Spain. Its pristine landscape and historical legacy from the past make each holiday a memorable one. Here, culture and adventure immingle to create an unforgettable experience. Everyone should live to see a holiday in Moraira.
